Philosophy

We are five attorneys who have tried cases throughout all the Courts of the State of California and the United States District Courts. We have argued before the Appellate Courts of both the State of California, and the United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Every partner in our firm is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.
We all have made our homes in Fresno, California. But, our practice has taken us throughout all of California, the United States, and to many foreign countries. Through our travels we are familiar with the Courts, Judges, Lawyers, and Jurors throughout California.

It’s true that most cases settle out of Court. Our work, and how we prepare cases, is based upon what a jury or Judge will think about the evidence, the witnesses, and the arguments to be presented. This is what cases distill down to.
Our attorneys have significant trial experience in agriculture, business, construction, employment, insurance and injury cases. Rather than call ourselves specialist in one area of the law, which we could, we each recognize that there is not just one body of laws which can apply to any one case. In fact, it is through our substantial experience and knowledge of multiple areas of the law that our clients often gain advantages in cases. As your Lawyers, this breadth of experience can be leveraged in your favor.

Teams of lawyers can be great. We recognize that most clients only want to pay for the lawyer who will actually be doing the talking at the trial of the case. This is another reason why we all have learned a variety of areas of law. When you call with a question, we can answer it.
Most people want to be known for their accomplishments in life. We don’t go out of our way to seek publicity, because most of our clients don’t want to publicize the fact that they are in a lawsuit, whether they are suing or being sued. This is just one of the many things we do to fulfill our fiduciary duties to place our clients interests ahead of our own.

As lawyers, through our advice we provide predictability and through our legal work we provide certainty. That may not sound exciting, but realize that once you need a lawyer, excitement is the last thing you should be looking for. We have advised thousands of clients in virtually every field of law, and our experience with all of these clients has taught us that what most people need when involved in a legal matter is to know what to expect during the course of proceedings, and what the results will be.
